The Shandong Provincial Vegetable Association was established in May 1993. It is a social organization administered by the Shandong Provincial Department of Civil Affairs, with a Unified Social Credit Code of 51370000MJD602530A. It is an industry-specific, nonprofit social organization voluntarily formed by legal entities and individuals engaged in the vegetable industry and related fields—including production, processing, distribution, scientific research, education, promotion, and consumption—in Shandong Province. It currently has more than 400 member organizations and 46 council member organizations.

Adhering to the development philosophy of “innovation, coordination, green development, openness, and sharing,” the Association is committed to promoting the high-quality development of the vegetable industry in Shandong Province and across the nation. The Association fully leverages its role as a bridge and link, actively assisting government departments in formulating industry policies and organizing a wide range of services—including technical training, market development, and brand building—to provide comprehensive support to its member organizations.

Over the years, the Association has continuously innovated its service models and established a comprehensive membership service system. It regularly organizes member visits to advanced industrial bases both domestically and internationally for study tours and exchanges, thereby promoting scientific and technological progress and enhancing management standards within the vegetable industry. The Association also actively engages in brand-building initiatives, promoting members’ branded products to the public and driving the vegetable industry toward greener, more branded, and more internationalized development.
